Lighthouse Park
This is one of the nicest parks on the
island and it's where you'd go to sit on a sandy beach or watch the
seals on the rock at Boiling Reef. If you have a boat, you can moor
it in the protected area just in front of the public beach in summer. Pack your
lunch and stroll down to the park. Sit on one of the benches or in the
grass and watch the seals and otters at play. Or wade on the sandy
beach as you look for seashells. It's a lovely way to spend the day.
The best experience, however, is watching the resident Orcas come by
and rub their bellies on the sand stone rocks!
